Consisting of a large variety of Flora and Fauna, Khaptad National Park was established in 1984 with the advice of the holy man known as Khaptad Baba. It is the protected area in the Far-Western Region in Nepal. Khaptad National Park lies in the Seti zone and stretches over four districts, namely; Bajhang, Bajura, Achham, and Doti covering an area of 225sq.km. Khaptad National Park ranges in elevation from 1,400m (4,600 ft) to 3,300m (10,800 ft)
