Nepal Airlines

Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is prominent to offer air transport service to any person, society, or organization. The company was established on 1 July 1958 through the enactment of the Nepal Airlines Corporation Act, 2019. The organization provides services for the transportation of men or materials from one airport to another. It facilitates its customers within and outside the country. Here are the major airlines:

Indian Airlines

It is the major Indian Airline based in Delhi. The airline focuses primarily on domestic routes along with several international services. These services are provided to neighboring countries in Asia. The airline was state-owned after the merger of eight pre-independence domestic airlines. It was monitored by the Department of Civil Aviation. It carried the flag of India and Air India.

Chinese Airlines

The operation of this airline is directly supervised by the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China (CAAC). This airline has welcoming, safe, and high-quality services. The airways in China have developed rapidly over the last fifty years on both domestic and international air routes.

Malaysian Airlines

Malaysian Airlines is known with several names such as Malaysia Airlines Berhad, Malaysian Airline System. This is an airline operating from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. It has secondary hubs in Kota Kinabalu and Kuching. The airline has its destination throughout Asia, Oceania, and Europe. Malaysian Airlines is one of the members of the OneWorld airline alliance. It is also the flag carrier of Malaysia.

Qatar Airlines

Qatar Airways is another state-owned flag carrier of Qatar. It is headquartered in the Qatar Airways Tower in Doha. The airline operates a hub–and–spoke network. It links over 150 international destinations across Africa, Central Asia, Europe, Far East, South Asia, Middle East, and many more. More than 43,000 people are working here. This carrier has also been a member of the Oneworld alliance since October 2013. It is recognized as the first Gulf carrier to sign with one of the three airline alliances.

Turkish Airlines

It is the national flag carrier of Turkey. The carrier operates scheduled services to 315 destinations as of August 2019. It serves in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. The airline is known as the largest carrier in the world by several passenger destinations. However, this excludes the regional brand. It continuously serves more destinations from a single airport.

Thai Airways

The airline is known as the founding member of the Star Alliance. It is the second-largest shareholder of the low-cost carrier NOK Air. The airline carries a 21.8 percent stake. It also launched a regional carrier under the name Thai Smile in the middle of 2012. The carrier uses a new Airbus called A320 aircraft.

Malinda Airlines

The entry of Air Asia from Malaysia has created different circumstances. It has encouraged Indonesian airline to enter the Malaysian market with a subsidiary airline. Air Asia’s contributory Indonesia Air Asia, in business with its parent firm, attempted to buy an Indonesian carrier. This carrier is called Batavia Air for gaining a foothold in Indonesia.

Lufthansa Airlines

Its registered workplace and corporate headquarters are in Cologne. The main operations base is known by the name of Lufthansa Aviation Centre. It is at the Lufthansa’s primary hub at Frankfurt Airport. Also, its secondary hub is at Munich Airport. There a secondary Flight Operations Centre is maintained.
